My experience using technology has followed society's consumerism. When everyone had a pc, so did I. And now when everyone, or most, have switched to the new snazzy Mac, I followed. My skills on each device are limited to the basics; writing and formatting, surfing the web, and dabbling in a few other basic applications. In a way, you could say I've lost my touch with a PC and with windows, and the entrance into my class is quickly refreshing my memory. Besides computers, I am not so much a trend follower when it comes to the latest gadgets. I tend to by the absolute cheapest phone on the market and I didn't have an ipod till a month ago.

Yes, my experience is limited. However, I am open to learning new things in this class. I hope to learn more about new versions of certain applications, like MS Office 2007. I don't know how to use Excell, and I admit I'm not a genius at graphics. Hopefully I'll learn all this and more within my time here.

Based on the survey I am an active learner. This means I like to try this out in order to understand them. This also means I tend to like to work in groups rather then alone. I tend to grasp information when it is applied to something I'm already familiar with. I also find it very difficult to learn while sitting in a lecture, or anything that limits hands-on learning.
